Study Of Hydrodynamic Characteristics Of The Film Layer In Rotary Filter Devices

The article presents the physico-chemical properties of the working fluid, the process of formation of the film layer, and the method of its calculation in the rotor-filter device that cleans dusty gases in a wet way. The change laws of the liquid film layer were studied in different parameters of absorbent liquid and variable factors (10%, 20%, 30% solution of sodium bicarbonate in water, diameter of the shutter hole 1mm, 2mm, 3mm and diameter of the filter material hole 2mm, 3mm, 4mm) supplied to the device. Comparative graphs on the dependence of the liquid consumption on the film thickness were built and empirical formulas that adequately represent the rent area were recommended. A correction factor is included in the calculation equation of the film layer formed on the working surface of the rotor-filter appapart filter.
