This article delves into the intricate linguistic portrayal of temporal concepts within the narratives of English and Karakalpak fairy tales. Time, a fundamental element in storytelling, is explored through the lens of linguistic markers and cultural influences present in these two distinct storytelling traditions.
Moreover, the article compares and contrasts the linguistic realization of time in these narratives, highlighting both commonalities and divergences. It discusses the cultural underpinnings that shape temporal perception and expression, offering insights into how linguistic differences influence the portrayal of temporal concepts in storytelling.
